Ess to the email address associated with the account, there IS another way to prove that you are the rightful owner of the account. (This method can also be used if someone has created a fake profile that claims to be you.) It's called a Salute. A Salute is a photo of yourself holding a handwritten sign with the word "MySpace.com" and your FriendID on it. You can find your Friend ID number after "friendID=" in the web address when viewing your profile. This is the FriendID of the profile you want to keep, not the fake or undesired profile. If you do not have a profile on MySpace, put your email address on the sign instead of the Friend ID. After taking the Salute photo, you will need to upload that photo to the Web. You cannot post your Salute in a public place, so if you don't have your own website, I recommend that you open a free account at Geocities and upload it there. Next, contact Myspace via this form, provide the web address (URL) of the Salute photo, and the web address of the undesired profile. Explain the situation, and why you want the profile removed. With a bit of luck, Myspace will soon cancel the account and remove the undesired profile.
